Western Ontario Darts Youth Program
ABOUT THE YOUTH PROGRAM
The Western Ontario Youth Program is open to all youth players.
This program provides youth players the opportunity to learn the sport of darts, dart skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork. It also provides the opportunity for youth players to compete in the zone level and at the Youth Provincial Championships for a chance to make the Western Ontario Provincial Team!!
The Provincial Youth Team will travel to the Canadian National Championships to compete against other Provincial Teams across Canada.
The age group divisions as of October 1 of the current season:
Tykes – 12 and under
Juniors – 15 and under
Seniors – 18 and under
(note: tykes may be eligible to play as a junior)
Western Ontario’s Provincial team is made up of the top two (2) JR girls, top two (2) JR boys, top two (2) SR girls, and top two (2) SR boys of the Youth Provincial Championships.
*You must purchase a membership in order to participate in the Adult Program*
Eligibility to compete in the Western Ontario Provincials is determined by:
- Being registered through a WODA affiliated youth dart league
- Playing the singles event only in the zone shoots as an independent – the fee is $95. Please reach out to vicepresident@westernontariodarts.ca for full details and registration – pre-registration is mandatory for this option
- Registering for the singles event only for Provincials as an independent – the fee is $95. Please reach out to vicepresident@westernontariodarts.ca for full details and registration – pre-registration is mandatory for this option
- Earning an invitation based on being the top one (1) player in each singles event on the WODA Provincial Ranking list from the previous season
- Being one of the top two (2) players in each singles event from previous year Provincials

ABOUT THE ZONE SHOOTS
All youth players are welcome to participate in the zone shoots.
JR and SR Doubles, JR Girls and Boy Singles, and SR Girls and Boys Singles events are offered at the zone shoots. There will be one (1) zone shoot offered per season.
All members must play in the zone where they currently reside.
Ranking points will be awarded to all youth players playing in a zone shoot.
